Beginning in 2022, first-time, first-year students enrolling at UNO were offered the opportunity to complete the CliftonStrengths assessment as part of their orientation. The assessment, developed by Gallup, helps students discover their talents.
The student response has been outstanding; more than 2,100 students have completed the assessment. If you work or interact with first-time, first-year students, you have the opportunity to take part in developing this shared language and help students realize how they can use their natural talents to enhance their experience at UNO.
Learn More About CliftonStrengths
To learn more about the initiative, you can:
Register for CliftonStrengths Workshops through the Center for Faculty Excellence
Discover your Strengths and how to maximize them in the workplace through the CliftonStrengths workshop. These workshops will be led by UNO Strengths coaches.
After registering you will be sent a link approximately one week before the week of your workshop to either complete to the Strengths Assessment or submit your top five if you have already taken the CliftonStrengths assessment. This information will remain confidential and will only be shared with the facilitator of your session.
If you have already completed the Strengths Assessment, we request that you do not re-take this assessment as it is rare for your results to change. If you have any questions about taking the assessment or if you should retake the assessment, contact Sammi Kaiser at skkaiser@unomaha.edu.
