Dining Services: Dodge Campus Summer Hours and Leadership Updates

As we transition into the summer season, please note the upcoming changes to the hours of operation for our campus dining locations on the Dodge Campus beginning Monday, May 20. Several of our dining areas will be adjusting their schedules, and some will be closed for the summer. These changes are designed to accommodate the reduced campus population during the summer months while still providing ample dining options for our community members who remain on or visit campus.


Updated Hours of Operation (Starting May 20)

Monday through Friday

We aim to cater to everyone's needs and appreciate your understanding as we balance demand and operational capacity during the summer.

  • Starbucks (Criss Library) 7 A.M. to 3 P.M.
  • Maverick Den Convenience Store (Milo Bail Student Center) 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
  • Durango’s Grill (Milo Bail Student Center) 11 A.M. to 2 P.M.

Closures

A few of our dining areas will not be operational over the summer. This includes the following locations:

  • Shake Smart (Health & Kinesiology Building)
  • Food Court (Milo Bail Student Center) Chick-fil-A – Coming Fall 2024
  • Krispy Krunchy Chicken location in the Maverick Den will not be operating for the Summer, visit Durango’s Grill for chicken tender options. (Milo Bail Student Center)

Leadership Changes in Dining Services

As the semester draws to a close, we are also undergoing changes within our dining services leadership. We are pleased to announce that Gerald Frye will be stepping in as the interim General Manager, and Angie Alexander will take on the role of interim Catering Manager. We anticipate a seamless transition with no impact on the quality or availability of services. Gerald and Angie bring a wealth of experience that will help us continue to improve and adapt our offerings to better serve our community.

We understand that these changes may affect your daily routines, and we are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Additional updates will be provided as they become available, ensuring you have the latest information on what to expect from dining services.
