Students from UNO's Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity are partnering with The Salvation Army for the 16th annual Just Can It! — a food drive and homelessness awareness event to stock The Salvation Army’s food pantries.
UNO students will sleep outdoors in cardboard homes and accept donations of money and non-perishable food from Thursday, April 18, through Friday, April 19.
This year, Pi Kappa Alpha is collecting donations of food, drink and money to help support Nebraska flood victims and and the homeless population here in Omaha. The public can also support Just Can It by donating online at salarmyomaha.org.
