The Maverick Food Pantry (MFP) is holding a donation drive for Valentine’s Day 2022. Donations for the drive will be accepted through the end of February. Physical items and monetary donations are welcome.
This is a way for our UNO community to share their love for our UNO community. Our motto at the MFP is “When you need it, take it. When you have it, give it.” We think Valentine’s Day is a great time to apply this motto - whether you donate or share our information to someone in need!
Donate and Receive a Handmade Valentine
To thank our donors and honor Valentine’s Day, all that donate will receive a handmade Valentine. We will deliver and send out Valentines Monday, Feb. 14, but will accept donations through the end of the month with pre-made Valentines ready to hand out or send out to each donor.
Donate Online
For those that donate online, we ask you to fill out this form so we can send or deliver your Valentine.
Donate in Person
For those that donate in person, we will retrieve your information while you are in space.
Donors can park in lot E informing the parking lot attendant they are here for a Maverick Food Pantry donation. Donors can drop off their donation in Room 130 of the Barbara Weitz CEC or upon arrival, call 402.554.4083 and our team will unload their donation. Our hours of operation are Mondays through Thursdays 8 A.M. to 7 P.M. and Fridays 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
