The Common Reader Experience eases incoming students’ transition to college through small-group discussion, curricular assignments, and co-curricular programming based around a single book. To that end, we are inviting the UNO community to nominate books for consideration for the Fall 2020 Common Reader.
The chosen text should:
- Engage students' interest with wide-ranging and accessible themes
- Provoke conversation and inquiry
- Enable students to launch their academic careers successfully
- Be in paperback by March of the calendar year in which the book will be used
Should you wish to nominate a text for 2020, please complete the online form. Nominations will be accepted through July 15, 2019.
