Housing and Residence Life is excited to begin the search for the 2020-2021 Resident Assistant (RA) team! Applications are open now through Thursday, Feb. 13.
Resident Assistants are community leaders who plan programs, connect with residents, and build an engaged community. Positions are available on both Dodge and Scott Campuses this year. Depending on your interest, you may be interested in applying to one campus or both! (Please note, the job application/interview process is slightly different for each, but the role’s responsibilities are very similar.)
General requirements for the position are as follows:
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA (2.5 for Dodge Campus; 2.75 for Scott Campus)
- Be a full-time UNO student with 24 completed credit hours by May 2020
- Be in good academic and judicial standing with UNO
Dodge Campus RA's serve in the role from Aug. 2020 until May 2021. These RA's serve as student leaders in Maverick Village and University Village on the west side of Dodge Campus.
Scott Campus RA's serve in the role from May 2020 until May 2021. These RA's serve as student leaders in Scott Crossing, Scott Court, Scott Hall, and Scott Village, found on Scott Campus.
