Janelle Laudick Joins the UNO Office of Graduate Studies

Janelle Laudick, an enrollment management and communications strategist, joined the leadership team in the Office of Graduate Studies in June 2021. As the new director of graduate recruitment and marketing, Laudick brings more than 14 years of higher education marketing and student recruitment experience to the position. Prior to UNO, Laudick worked as the communications manager for the University of Kansas School of Education and Human Sciences.

In addition to working full-time, Janelle completed an Ed.D. in educational leadership and policy with an emphasis on higher education administration from the University of Kansas in May 2021. Her dissertation focused on communication strategies that support the matriculation decision of domestic master’s degree students. In her new role, Laudick will oversee the recruitment and marketing team in the Office of Graduate Studies leading initiatives to support graduate faculty and program enrollment, on- and off-campus events, and other internal and external marketing initiatives related to graduate education at UNO. Laudick, a Midwest native, earned a master’s degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
