The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) continues to embrace areas of both growth and opportunity at the graduate level. New enrollment data announced a total of 3,133 graduate students, with 469 of them newly admitted for the Spring 2023 semester. UNO saw an increase in overall graduate student enrollment (+2.9%) and a slight decrease in minority graduate students (-0.2%) from Spring 2022. UNO increased the number of international graduate students (+14.4%) as well as non-resident graduate students (+11.1%) year-on-year.
“Our spring 2023 enrollment numbers indicate that students continue to see great value in a UNO graduate certificate or degree, with our world-class faculty and programs providing the education and training opportunities that align with their objectives.” said Juan Casas, interim dean of graduate studies. “Our talented students graduate ready to fulfill the workforce needs of the state and prepared to take on the challenges of today’s complex world.”
