MavGrants is now NuRamp's Office of Sponsored Programs module: What you need to know
To ensure the best services for all campuses in the system, the University of Nebraska has been working to launch a module-by-module rollout of the Nebraska University Research Administration Management Portal (NuRamp). MavGrants, which had existed concurrently with and was linked to NuRamp, is now an integrated module within NuRamp (named "Office of Sponsored Programs"). Following this migration, all historical data from MavGrants is now accessible via NuRamp.
The Office of Sponsored Programs module in NuRamp, UNO’s internal system for tracking and approving external funding requests and subsequent awards, serves as a repository for records of all proposal submissions, agreements for funded projects, and other important documents throughout a sponsored project’s lifecycle.
NuRamp's Office of Sponsored Programs module is a paperless proposal management system that:
- Allows electronic form submission
- Stores data to speed future projects
- Sends automated form status notifications
- Streamlines and automates the routing process
- Increases the efficiency of review processes
- Features real-time reporting
Currently, all principal investigators and project directors must use NuRamp-Office of Sponsored Programs module to apply for and receive any external funding for academic activities.
