COPYRIGHT is an exclusive, legal right of the author(s) of original work(s) to print, publish, and/or otherwise make these materials publicly available.
-
A protected/registered design, word, or symbol used to identify a product or a company is a TRADEMARK.

A NEW INVENTION NOTIFICATION (NIN) is a confidential document created by Inventors (faculty, students, and/or staff) describing the elements and details of any new invention. The NIN will be the initial document submitted to the Tech Transfer Office (TTO) and used to determine the patentability of the described invention.
