Biography
Ashlee McGill is a Contracts & Awards Administrator II at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Although she is a recent addition to the team, Ashlee is not new to UNO, having previously contributed her expertise through her work with National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center.
Ashlee focuses on grant awards preparation, review, and negotiation. She ensures incoming awards meet all requirements, collaborates with departments and faculty to complete necessary documentation, and validates award information in NuRamp. She also handles subaward agreements, negotiates with subawardees, and manages amendments with key stakeholders. She performs risk assessments on grants and subawards and interprets regulatory rules to recommend compliance strategies.
Additionally, Ashlee reviews and negotiates contracts and agreements, working closely with the Senior Contracts & Awards Administrator to ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
