Chancellor's Sustainability Committee
UNO's Sustainability Committee, formed in October 2013, is a group appointed by the Chancellor to promote sustainability efforts on the UNO campus and serve to advise the Administration on sustainability-related matters.
Mission
- Identify sustainability opportunities and develop recommended priorities and action plans for implementation;
- Integrate sustainability with campus operations, education, and outreach, wherever and whenever prudence dictates; and
- Engage the campus and community in an ongoing dialogue about sustainability.
