About Jonathan
Jonathan, a first-generation, low-income student, graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) in 2014 with a BS in Social Work and Latino/ Latin American Studies with a minor in Spanish. He began working in higher education in 2015 at Tulsa Community College (TCC), where he held a number of roles. Jonathan relocated to Omaha, Nebraska in 2021. Since then, he has transitioned to the Project Achieve (Trio) Program and is a Project Achieve Specialist. Jonathan has a strong desire to mentor students and assists them in breaking down barriers.
