In late 2023, a formal design study and program evaluation statement will be initiated for a permanent facility on UNO’s campus to be built.

This permanent facility will house:

  • The Samuel Bak Museum: The Learning Center
  • Temporary exhibition space
  • The Sam & Frances Fried Holocaust & Genocide Academy
  • The Leonard and Shirley Goldstein Center for Human Rights
  • The Natan & Hannah Schwalb Center for Israel & Jewish Studies
  • UNO’s Office of Diversity, Equity, Access and Inclusion
  • Academic classrooms and gathering spaces
