FALL 2024

Scott Scholars Application Opens for 2025 First Years

Eligible candidates are welcomed into the applicant pool on a first-come, first served basis, and spots are limited. Secure your interview and an inivitation to Scott Scholars Applicant Day with an early application.

Deadline: December 29, 2024 | 11:59 PM

Still working on your ACT score? You may have time to take the October or December test before the application closes.

Get to know UNO with a trip to campus. Our team is happy to meet with you and your family while you're on campus, just reach out! Plus, you can find our table during each Be A Mav Day.

Scott Scholars high school visits.

The Scott Scholars team is hitting the road to meet with as many of Nebraska's best and brightest high school seniors as possible. Connect our team with your school counselor to arrange an information session.

SPRING 2025

Scott Scholars Applicant Day

Eligible applicants will be invited to Scott Scholars Applicant Day on January 18, 2025. This required event gives applicant and their families a sneak peek of the life of a UNO Scott Scholar and features time to engage with leaders from the university and the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation, program staff, and current Scott Scholars. By the end of the day, applicants should feel more confident than ever to complete their interview.

Individual Interviews

Each candidate will participate in an interview with the Scott Scholars Admissions Committee. Interviews for eligible applicants will be held between January 18 - Febuary 14, 2025.

Applicants will recieve notice of their candidacy status within a week of interviews concluding.
