Crispin Corpuz
He/Him/His
- Scott Scholar | Class of 2023
- Electrical Engineering and Mathematics
Additional Information
Experiences and Involvement
As Telecommunications Engineering Intern at Union Pacific, Crispin constructed microwave link stress-testing and data analysis scripts, developed the front-end and back-end of a website, and configured network devices to expand the network and improve network reliability.
He then worked at Garmin as Design Engineer Intern, where he learned about numerous electrical design methodologies, designed schematic and PCB layouts for a GPS truth device, and aided with phase noise, digital timing, and voltage rail tolerance testing to quantify proper device operation.
At UNO, he is President of Nebraska Engineering Student Council at Omaha (NESCO), Lead Project Engineer for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Program Officer for Eta Kappa Nu, IEEE's Honor Society.
Crispin in skilled many programs and languages, including Autodesk Inventor, KiCAD, CADSTAR, Swift, Python, Java, C/C++, and C#.
Career Interests
Crispin is interested in a career in full-system hardware design, including everything from embedded and power systems to RF circuit design.
He also has a passion for event planning, community building, and leadership.
