Experiences and Involvement
Through the Leadership in Media Academy, Evie managed, operated, and fixed broadcasting machines. She also created and taught a multiple-week course on operation of broadcasting machines. Additionally, as a videoboard operator, Evie managed content creation for the school district's video scoreboards.
Evie competed on a CyberPatriot team, where the team won first in state at every competition level and qualified as a platinum team on the national level. She competed in the Linux challenges, as well as building custom tools for the team's use.
Evie has experience coding in a large variety of programming languages, creating and flying custom-built racing drones, and 3D art and visual effects.
Evie was involved with and volunteered with Key Club. Additionally, she enjoys playing the harp and guitar, as well as teaching piano.
Career Interests
Evie is interested in a career in programming low-level firmware for open-source hardware, machine learning, and data science research.
