Experiences and Involvement
Ethan is a member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and Eta Kappa Nu honor society at UNO.
As a Jr. Network Admin for Kiewit, he maintained the network infrastructure of the company and developed automation tools.
Then, at Garmin as a Software Engineering Intern, Ethan was involved in the development and prototyping of a Splash Screen Animation for Marine Products.
His Community Action Project team partnered with the Smart Gen Society to develop an app that reduces blue light exposure in young people by providing incentives to users who reduced their screen time.
Ethan is skilled in numerous programs and languages, including C/C++, Java, Verilog HDL, OpenGL, Cisco IOS and has electronic knowledge in Digital Circuit Design/Analysis, FPGA Design, AM Radio, and soldering.
Career Interests
He is interested in a career in the product design side of electrical and computer engineering, and he hopes to work on computer hardware, including circuit and PCB design.
