Bio
Nathan is from Nickerson, NE, and is studying architectural engineering. His non-profit experience includes partnering with the Open Door Mission. As a community impact project, his team created an appointment reminder system for their clients to use. His leadership experience includes serving as treasurer for UNO's American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers organization, and being a member of Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. His research experience includes working on a project over Rigid Block analysis with Dr. Bora Pulatsu and Dr. Ece Erdogmus. This research assesses settlement-induced damages to masonry facades. His previous internship experience includes interning at Kiewit and Ayars & Ayars. This summer, Nathan will be interning at HDR as a mechanical engineering intern. His career interests include mechanical engineering, with a focus on design. He is also interested in renewable energy resources, as well as net-zero buildings.
