Graduate Checklist

The countdown to Commencement is on! Review the following to-do items so you're ready for your big day!

  • Apply to Graduate

    Students must apply for graduation to attend the ceremony and receive their diploma. Graduates are required to complete the application, even if they miss the deadline for their name to be listed in the program.

    Apply to Graduate Deadline: October 18, 2024

  • Order Your Cap and Gown

    All graduates must wear academic regalia to participate in a ceremony. To order the attire that matches your intended degree, place your order through the Maverick Store.

    Purchase Deadline: December 6, 2024

  • Request Accessibility Accommodations

    Reach out to the Accessibility Services Center unoaccessibility@unomaha.edu and the UNO Events team unoevents@unomaha.edu to inform us you need an accommodation.

    If guests need accommodations, please contact Baxter Arena at info@baxterarena.com

  • Review Ceremony Logistics

    When do I arrive? Where do I go? What about my guests? Where do I park?

    Find answers to all of these questions — and everything else you need to know about planning — on the ceremony details page.

  • Attend the Ceremony

    The Commencement page includes all the event details you need for your big day.

  • Stay Connected!

    Connect with the UNO Alumni Association and check out everything that the Maverick Advising Center (MAC) provides, including résumé help, career readiness, and interview resources.
