About Cristina Lamas
Cristina Lamas is Director of Project Achieve (Trio) Program. She is responsible for overseeing the program at UNO. Cristina received her BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1998 and her graduate degree in Public Administration from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.
Cristina began her career at UNO in 2015 as a Program Coordinator for the Dreamer’s Pathway Scholars Program and as a Academic and Career Advisor in the Academic and Career Development Center. In 2018, She transitioned to support the Success Academies office and in 2022 is now leading efforts with the Project Achieve Program. Cristina has a Professional Certification in Trauma and Resilience, Level 1 and 2 from Florida State University. She is also a certified Health and Wellness Coach through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). Cristina is passionate about education and helping students.Additional Information
