About Lindsay
Lindsay joined the CAPS team as the Triage Specialist in 2017 and became the Mental Health Specialist in the spring of 2023. Lindsay earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from UNO and was an RA on Scott Campus.
She has extensive experience with the UNO campus community and processes, including budgeting, data acquisition, facilitating groups with the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center, and greeting students at CAPS Outreach events.
Given the extensive experience and familiarity with UNO and with counseling practices, Lindsay is uniquely capable of ensuring students feel welcomed and supported when they interact with CAPS.
Lindsay comes from a background of education and training with the Red Cross. Her niblings are very important to her and she enjoys watching them grow. Plus, she loves Blue October.
