Nebraska Resident Scholarships (additional scholarships available)

Presidential Scholars Program

Amount: Full cost of attendance, plus a $5,000.00 stipend.

Eligibility: Awarded to graduating high school seniors with top test scores of 36 ACT or 1570-1600 SAT. Must be a Nebraska resident.

Application Info: Renewable up to three years at UNO subject to maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 and completing 30 credit hours each academic year.

Students must apply to UNO by February 1 of their senior year, to be eligible.

Regent's Scholarship

Amount: Full Tuition

Eligibility: Minimum ACT score of 30. Top 25% of graduating class or cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 (4.0 scale). Scholarships are awarded competitively and are not guaranteed at the minimum criteria level.

Application Info: Renewable up to three years at UNO subject to maintaining full-time enrollment and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25.

Students must apply to UNO by February 1 of their senior year, to be eligible.

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Amount: Up to $3,500/year

Eligibility: Students with outstanding ACT scores and high school GPA not qualifying for Regent's Scholarship.

Application Info: Renewable up to three years at UNO subject to maintaining full-time enrollment and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Students must apply to UNO by February 1 of their senior year, to be eligible.

Amount: $1,000/year

Eligibility: Promising students with above-average ACT scores and high GPA not qualifying for Academic Achievement Scholarship.

Application Info: Renewable up to three years at UNO subject to maintaining full-time enrollment and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Students must apply to UNO by February 1 of their senior year, to be eligible.

Amount: Varies up to Full Tuition plus

Eligibility: Highest academically talented high school students, admitted to the University Honors Program.

Eligibility: Competitive awards to Nebraska resident students interested in pursuing programs of study leading to careers in high-demand fields related to STEM.

Amount: $2,500/year

Eligibility: Competitive to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated leadership and involvement during high school.

Eligibility: Minimum ACT composite of 24 or higher (or SAT equiv.) transfer students must have a 3.0 GPA (4.0 scale). OR top 1/3 of the graduating class.
