Brian Knarr is an expert in biomechanics, focusing on neuromuscular rehab & sports injury prevention, with research on post-stroke recovery & sports performance.
Biography
Knarr co-directs the UNO Sports Medicine and Biomechanics Lab, which includes the UNO Pitching Lab, and has published extensively on improving movement variability, performance, and rehabilitation outcomes.
His research explores recovery and performance enhancement, combining clinical, experimental, and computational approaches with applications to individuals' post-stroke, as well as youth and adult athletes.
As Director of the Machining and Prototyping Core (MAPRO), Knarr oversees the development of bespoke devices and systems to support research at UNO and the overall NU system in their research.
