Elizabeth Chalecki is an expert in climate change & security, sustainability, foreign policy, and international environmental policy.
Biography
Elizabeth Chalecki, Ph.D., is an expert in climate change and security, international environmental policy, sustainability, foreign policy, and the intersection of science and international relations.
She has worked extensively with local media, and her work has been published in prominent journals. Her research addresses trans-boundary environmental and security issues.
In 2020, Chalecki was awarded a Research Fellowship at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, DC, and spent three months in 2022 on a Fulbright Fellowship as the U.S. and Canada Relations Research Chair at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University.
She is also a subject matter expert on climate and security for NATO.
