The goal of the Academic Program Indicators initiative is to empower each of our academic degree programs to assess their alignment with their mission, review the academic performance of the students enrolled in the academic program, and view their economic margins.
This initiative empowers faculty teaching in academic programs to efficiently review program outcomes, continuously improve programs, and realize new academic opportunities by leveraging shared governance processes informed by a curated set of common metrics aligned with institutional mission and goals.
This process, including the identification and refinement of the metrics to be used to create the Academic Analytics Indicators, will engage institution stakeholders and respect processes of shared governance and decision-making.
This work will be accomplished through the following working groups:
- Data Working Group meets to review the dashboard framework and consider potential data review processes.
- Campus Data Working Group meets to review the process and provide feedback on critical data for the campus. An important role of this group will be to explore how data and insights from the dashboard are incorporated into existing academic governance processes such as academic program review, assessment, and curriculum committees.
