You and your advisors work together to achieve your goals. As a team, each of you has a role with different expectations and responsibilities that must be met in order for you to be successful and reach your academic goals.

- Ask questions! (And write down the answers-it really helps!)

- Accept responsibility for your decisions
- Communicate your interests, abilities, and goals to your advisor
- Become knowledgeable about UNO college programs, policies, and procedures. (i.e. dropping classes, enrollment, probation/suspension, student accounts/financial aid, student code of conduct, etc.)
