A Minor in World Languages and Literature

Our Foreign Languages Minor will help you become a more globally engaged and cross-culturally aware citizen.Minoring in a foreign language will help you:

Minor Requirements
Native speakers of any of the languages below (French, German, Spanish) should contact a departmental advisor regarding which course to take.
French and German minors
All students must take the following courses: A total of 15 credit hours (minimum of 9 taken at UNO) are required, distributed as follows:
- Conversation and Pronunciation: 3030 (3 credits)
- Grammar and Composition: 3040 (3 credits)
- Electives: any 3 courses at the 3000/4000 level (9 credits)
Spanish minors
All students must take the following courses: A total of 15 credit hours (minimum of 9 taken at UNO) are required, distributed as follows:
