Tal Anderson is President of Baxter Chrysler-Plymouth, Southroads Toyota in Bellevue, and Lexus of Omaha. He went up the business ladder through a commitment to his industry after putting his formal higher education on hold until the early 1980s.
He returned to his alma mater after a 25-year break and graduated with a degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1984.
His interest in education is evidenced by his support of private and public education. He has established scholarships in the Anderson name at Creighton Prep and Marian, Catholic secondary schools. He serves on the Education Committee of the Archdiocese of Omaha which provides scholarships for less privileged children to attend any parochial school in Omaha.
Mr. Anderson serves on the University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Business Administration National Advisory Board. He also is a member of the board of directors of Metro Community College Foundation. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Commercial Federal Bank and is a member of the Rotary Club of Omaha.
Mr. Anderson and his wife, Mary Joy, have three children: Lisa, Mickey, and Angela.
