Student Involvement
Maddie DaleyMaddie was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, and graduated from UNO with bachelor's degrees in business administration and gerontology. Maddie is now working toward her MBA with a concentration in health care management.
Maddie has several years of experience working in assisted living facilities which informs her current position as the graduate assistant for the Business pillar for the Transforming Wellness and Aging through Business, Informatics, and Gerontology initiative. In this position, Maddie's responsibilities include supporting meetings by taking minutes, arranging schedules, conducting grant searches, mentoring students in an honors colloquium class, and researching topics related to business, informatics, and gerontology to support other members of the BIG project.
Meagen MillierMeagen is a graduate student pursuing MA and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is preparing to propose her thesis entitled "Family First, Creativity Later? The Effects of Family Support on the Relationship Between Workplace Stressors and Creativity."
Meagen also works as a consultant with UNO's Center for Applied Psychological Services (CAPS) on I/O Psychology-based consulting projects.
Meagen is currently involved with several BIG-specific projects including working on a survey study aimed at answering questions about collaboration in healthcare organizations, helping to prepare an article on strategic process planning in health care organizations for publication, and analyzing data related to the Technology Acceptance Model and the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use of Technology in a healthcare environment. Meagen also regularly assists with grant searches and grant preparation when necessary.
Mollie George
Mollie is a third-year doctoral student in UNO's Department of Gerontology and a Graduate Assistant for the Transforming Wellness and Aging through Business, Informatics, and Gerontology initiative.
As a GA, she serves as a student mentor for the Honors Innovations 3000 course and is also involved in several projects investigating tiny house development and sustainability, perceived communication changes between essential contacts and older adults during Covid-19, and dementia respite programs.
