With an area of concentration in Biology you will engage in the study of life, individual organisms, their communities, and the systems, cells, and processes that make up living matter.
Some biologists conduct research to increase the knowledge about living organisms, while those in applied research use this knowledge to develop medicines, increase crop yields, and improve the environment.
