Omaha – The Division of Continuing Studies welcomed back April Paschall to their team in the role of assistant director of academic affairs.
April previously worked in the DCS from 2002 until 2013; first as a staff assistant and then as an academic advisor. April comes most recently from Doane University where she helped open a new College of Professional Studies campus in Omaha in 2013 and later transitioned to Doane’s Arts & Sciences campus focusing on institutional effectiveness, assessment, and accreditation.
April is currently a doctoral candidate in gerontology at UNO. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Art from Doane University and master’s degree in Textile, Clothing & Design from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
She is excited to return to DCS to help support the Bachelor of Multidisciplinary Studies degree programs. As the assistant director she will be responsible for the academic functions of the division, including academic program development and assessment, online and off-campus DCS course offerings, and adjunct faculty engagement and support.
