Advising Holds
Academic advisors provide guidance so students can achieve a meaningful educational experience and develop professional and personal goals.
Social work students who have a firm grasp of their curriculum requirements and are sure about which courses they’d like to take, may verify their plan for an upcoming semester with their advisor or have an advising hold released in place of seeing their advisor, by submitting a request online. A request should not be viewed as, nor is it intended to be, a replacement for advising. Students who submit a request will receive a response from their academic advisor within 24-48 hours.
Undergraduate students This form is not currently available to undergraduate students. All undergraduate students should make an appointment with their academic advisor through MavConnect.
