As of July 1, 2023, the university and community nonprofits can reserve CEC meeting spaces on Saturdays and Sundays for a cost. Please monitor this site for updates or contact Robyn Loos at rloos@unomaha.edu to get email notifications.
Eligible Groups
- CEC building partners (organizations with rental space in the building)
- UNO departments or units
- Community nonprofits and organizations
Weekend Hours
- Saturdays from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
- Sundays from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Please note that the CEC meeting spaces remain available and free of charge on weekdays, also available on our website.
Meeting Spaces and Rates
The hourly rates vary by the type of group requesting space. Please take a moment to review the hourly rates below. There is a minimum charge of 3 hours. Preview our meeting spaces below. Please go to our meeting space website page to view the spaces in detail, including amenities and technology.

Your reservation will include 30 minutes before and after the event. If access beyond 30 minutes is requested additional charges will apply.
Additional Fees
In addition to the hourly rates of meeting spaces, we have a breakdown of fees below. This includes but is not limited to the list below. We will include this in the reservation agreement along with the other details of your reservation.

The direct cost of facility repairs. |
Furniture Reset Fee | $80 |
Furniture moved by the guest that requires unplanned CEC personnel and resources. |
Room Use Beyond Scheduled Time | $50/30 Minutes |
If a room is used beyond the agreed-upon reservation end time, you will incur a fee per room for every 30 minutes. This fee is in addition to the hourly rate of the room. |
Billing
University and Building Partners:
- Direct billing to cost centers on the 15th of the following month of your event date.
Community Nonprofits/Organizations:
- Online payment only via credit card
- Full payment due 14 days in advance of the meeting start date
- Organizations can pay online once a reservation request is confirmed
- Make a payment
