Check Out Privileges: Information on how many items you may check out, and for how long.
Faculty Library Assistant: Faculty may authorize up to two people to conduct business at the library on their behalf with a Faculty Library Assistant (FLA) account.
Scott Campus Delivery: UNO students, faculty, and staff may request materials be delivered to the Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI) or Mammel Hall by filling out a request form.
Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows you to obtain items not owned by UNO Libraries, including books, articles, and microfilm. You may also request scanned copies of chapters, journal articles, and other materials owned by the UNO Libraries.
Faculty Study: All current faculty are welcome in the Library Faculty Study located on the third floor. To access the study, including the lounge, kitchen, and reading room, register your MavCard at the main service desk. Faculty may reserve one of 15 shared study carrels located within the Study on a semester basis.
Suggest We Buy: Faculty may request the library purchase books for their research and/or curriculum needs via the request form or by contacting their subject librarian.
Teaching Support
Course Reserves: Faculty may place library materials, personal books, or scanned materials on reserve for student use. The Library encourages the use of E-Reserve, but items can also be placed on print reserve.
Creative Production Lab: A full media production lab, including 3D printing and scanning, large format printing and scanning, video and audio services, laser cutting, and virtual and augmented reality.
Video Streaming: The Creative Production Lab offers the streaming of VHS tapes and DVDs for UNO classes.
Instruction: At any point in the semester, you can schedule one of our librarians to provide hands-on, active learning sessions for your students.
Archives and Special Collections: Collaborate with archivists on instruction sessions and assignments to teach students how to read, contextualize, and analyze primary source materials. In-class workshops provide students with the tools to conduct primary source research and apply these skills to projects across disciplines. Contact Claire Du Laney, Outreach Archivist.
Open Educational Resources: Educational materials made freely and legally available on the Internet for anyone to retain, reuse, revise, remix, and redistribute. UNO Libraries offers support to faculty who want to convert their courses to OER.
Lab reservations: The instruction labs are primarily used for library-related instruction and training, as well as public lab space for library users. If available, the instruction labs may be scheduled by university faculty and staff for other instructional uses.
Copyright Information: Resources on copyright ranging from fair use in the classroom to information on trademarking and court cases.

Subject Specialist: Subject specialist librarians have in-depth knowledge of researching within specific disciplines and can give you guidance specifically for your area of study.
