To have the carpets cleaned or request for review for replacement, submit a Maintenance Service Request through the iService Desk at fmp.unomaha.edu/request.
How do I request an event set-up?
Contact the Reservation Center at 402.554.3301 at least three business days prior to your event to arrange for set-up.
How do I order additional trash or recycling bins for my special event?
Let us know at least 24 hours in advance of your event if you'll need additional trash or recycling bins.

What is the schedule for cleaning offices and classrooms?
Classrooms are cleaned daily and offices are cleaned on a weekly basis. Central trash is emptied daily and desk trash is emptied weekly.

How do I request a confidential bin?
DataShield provides service of confidential, secure, routine document destruction (secure shredding) services for UNO. It is the responsibility of each individual department to coordinate directly with DateShield to perform the necessary handling of confidential shredding services. Can you identify a tree, flower, or shrub on campus for me?
Yes. Our staff is able to identify most plant matter on campus. If we are unable we will consult with UNO's Horticulture Department. Please email us at unofacilities@unomaha.edu. Please include a picture if possible.

Yes. Contact the FMP Service Desk at 402.554.3600 for all snow and ice removal problems. After hours and on weekends please call Public Safety at 402.554.2648.

UNO Facilities will verify the space temperature complies with the university building temperature policy. We monitor and maintain temperatures across campus according to the UNO Building Temperature Policy.
Can I use a space heater in my office?
UNO’s Building Temperature Policy advises against space heater use due to energy and safety implications. Space heaters may be used only if specifically approved by the Assistant Director of Maintenance, Operations, and Utilities.
Approval ensures that causes of discomfort have been thoroughly investigated and that space heaters, where needed, meet minimum safety standards.
How do I make a maintenance request if I live in campus housing?
Housing maintenance staff take care of dorm issues, please contact your respective Housing & Residence Life staff for repairs.
