OMAHA – An open house event will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, for the University of Nebraska’s Buffett Early Childhood Institute on the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) campus.
From 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., members of the community are encouraged to visit and tour the Buffet Early Childhood Institute, a university-wide, multidisciplinary research, education, outreach and policy center dedicated to promoting the development and success of children from birth to age eight.
Located in UNO’s Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center, the Buffett Early Childhood Institute is led by education specialist Samuel Meisels, Ph.D., who will speak about the Institute’s accomplishments and future goals.
Meisel’s remarks will take place at approximately 8:15 a.m.
