Omaha World-Herald's Tom Shatel on the Mavericks
"Is there a team in our area more fun to watch than UNO men’s hoops? The Movin’ Mavs are a threat to win any game on their schedule, including tonight’s tilt at Kansas State. You can be sure UNO has K-State coach Bruce Weber’s attention, especially after beating Marquette and Nevada and going up 23-7 at Nebraska. The kid from Central looks ready for lift off. Freshman Tre’Shawn Thurman went for a season-high 18 points with three rebounds, five blocks and an assist against Nevada."
