Support for Faculty
The Service Learning Academy provides support to faculty members through the planning and implementation of the Maverick Philanthropy Initiative in their course.
- Grant funding of $1,000 for each course section
- Support for service learning implementation
- Facilitate community partner involvement and communication
- Introduce students to student philanthropy model and service learning, and educate them on best practices when engaging in the Maverick Philanthropy Initiative (MPI) in an MPI Orientation
- Plan and facilitate final project celebrations
