Making UNO a better place for students is a hard job. As such, Student Government is always in need of support from faculty, staff, and other students as well as members of the Omaha community. Below you will find some information about ways to support Student Government as it works to achieve its mission of advancing the student experience.

Sign Up for Updates

Faculty, staff, students, and individuals and organizations in the Omaha community who are interested in supporting Student Government or who want updates about Student Government's activities can sign up for our Friends of Student Government list. This list lets us know that you are committed to student success on campus and want to support student-led efforts to change campus for the better.

Get Involved

There is always work to be done. UNO students who want to take an active role in making the campus better for their students are encouraged to apply for one of our many official roles within the organization. These opportunities vary in time commitment and intensity from minor roles which meet a few times a semester to high intensity and high-impact positions that do critical work of the organization.

Donate to the Student Government Leadership Fund

Student Government provides its members the opportunity to impact campus, but it also strives to create an experience that allows its members to learn and grow into change agents who will go on to make a positive impact on the world. Individuals or organizations who believe in that effort are encouraged to donate to the Student Government Leadership Fund through the NU Foundation. Money donated to this fund goes directly to providing members of Student Government high-impact leadership retreats, national conferences, and other developmental experiences.
