IS&T Collaboratorium C-BYTES (Fall 2024)
Quick-Share Competition (prize: $150 pre-paid Visa*)
Quick-Share is a challenging rapid-style project presentation competition, wherein each participant will be given three minutes to orally present their research or project with the aid of a single PowerPoint slide. Judges will be selected from members of UNO faculty and IS&T industry partners. Presenters will be scored using a specified rubric.
Because of time constraints, only 10 registrants will be selected for the Quick-Share competition. Eligible registrants that are not selected to compete in Quick-Share will be invited to participate in the Poster-BYTES competition.

- Submit your Title and a draft Abstract in the body of the email.
- Enter in the subject line: Quick-Share.
Quick-Share Judging Rubric: This TENTATIVE rubric is posted as an informational resource to guide participants and potential judges, only. The official competition-day rubric may vary slightly from this version.
Poster-BYTES (prize: $50 prepaid Visa*)
Poster-BYTES is a more traditional style poster presentation competition. Participants will display project posters and be available to describe their projects and answer viewer questions. Presentations will be scored from viewer feedback submitted using a specified rubric.With approval of their advisors, all registrants not participating in Quick-Share are invited to participate in the Poster-BYTES competition. Since there are a limited number of spots for Quick-Share, any eligible registrant that was not selected for Quick-Share, will be automatically invited to participate in Poster-BYTES.

Announcement of winners will occur much later, and participants are not expected to be present.
5:00 p.m. Competition Winners Announced (via email, website post, and digital signage)
On November 20, 2024, competition winners will meet with Dean Martha Garcia-Murillo to be presented with their certificate, prize, and to get a congratulatory picture taken!
*cash-equivalent prizes are subject to appropriate tax law
