Media Relations works to share UNO’s story locally, nationally, and around the globe. We curate individual campus research and announcements, facilitate media engagements, proactively seek out opportunities for media to draw insights with UNO faculty experts, and develop possibilities for faculty to share their work far beyond UNO’s campus.
We are public relations and storytelling professionals who can assist with news releases, media advisories, media interview coordination and preparation (media training), crisis communications support, feature story creation, support in pitching articles for The Conversation, and anything involving local, national, and international media.
Areas of support include Storytelling and informational support that support the campuswide priorities of recruitment, enrollment, retention, and engagement. This includes external storytelling through media relations efforts with video, radio, digital, and print outlets as well as internal storytelling through campus newsletters, email campaigns, digital signage, and person-to-person informational tools.
