Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Week: March 3 to 7, 2025.

Monday, March 3—Hat Day & wear the color Red
Tuesday, March 4—Wear the color Green and bring your favorite Fruit to share
Wednesday, March 5—Wear the color Orange and Wacky Hair Day
Thursday, March 6—Silly Sock Day
Friday, March 7—Center Wide Pajama Day
Parent/Teacher Conferences
Week of March 24 to 28, 2025. Conferences can be scheduled in person at the child care center, over the phone or via a zoom link. Please see the folders on the front desk counter to sign up for a conference with your child’s lead teacher. Toddlers—green folder; Transition—yellow folder; Preschool—red folder and Pre-K—blue folder. If you are unable to schedule a time on these dates, please see your child’s lead teacher to schedule an alternate date/time for the following week.

Outside Play & Walks
As the weather is getting warmer, the children are playing outside and will go for walks on campus. You may want to bring in a light jacket for the warmer afternoons instead of a coat. Sunscreen permission slips will go out this month. Approved sunscreens will be listed on the form.
Spring Break
UNO spring break is the week of March 17 to 21; the UNO Child Care Center is OPEN regular business hours. Childcare tuition will still be charged even if your child is not in attendance and you will be responsible for paying the tuition. Thank you.
The UNO Child Care Center CLOSES promptly at 5:30 P.M.
Please make sure you are picking up your child by 5:30 P.M. Your account will be charged $1.00 late pick-up fee for every minute you are late picking up your child past 5:30 P.M. and you will be responsible for paying this fee. If you are unable to be here by 5:30 P.M., please make other arrangements to have someone else pick up your child. You need to call the Child Care Center and let us know. We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
