What is Dodge Dining Dollars?

Dodge Dining Dollars is an exclusive dining program for use at all dining venues on the Dodge Campus, accessible through the University’s identification card (MavCARD). This program is maintained by the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office on the Dodge Campus. The total funds available each academic year vary based on the selected plan, offering discounts that increase with larger spending amounts.

The Dodge Dining Dollars account can only be used at the Dodge Dining Services locations. By default, transactions at these locations will access your Dining Dollars first, then MavMONEY. Any unused Dodge Dining Dollars will expire at the end of the academic year.

  Absolutely! Enrolling in the Dining Dollars program offers significant benefits. One of the primary advantages is the discount you receive at the time of enrollment. When you add Dining Dollars to your MavCARD account, you pay less than the actual value of the dollars, which means you get more purchasing power for your money. This discount helps you save on overall dining costs throughout the academic year.

  Pay $285 for a $300 dining dollar spending plan - (A savings of $15)

  Pay $540 for a $600 dining dollar spending plan – (A savings of $60)

  Pay $1,020 for a $1,200 dining dollar spending plan (A savings of $180)

• How do I enroll in the Dodge Dining Dollars plan?
  You can add Dining Dollars online through the university’s storefront portal during the enrollment period and at the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office, suite 216.

• Where can I use Dining Dollars?
  Dining Dollars can be used at all Dodge Campus dining facilities, including Starbucks, Shake Smart, MBSC Food Court (Chick-fil-A, Qdoba, Erbert & Gerbert’s Sandwich Shop), Durango’s Grill, and Maverick Den convenience store, that all accept MavCARDs.

• Can I use my Dining Dollars to purchase "Simply to Go" food options that are available in the Dodge Dining locations?
  Yes, you can definitely use your Dining Dollars to purchase "Simply To Go" food options as well as any other items available in the Dodge Dining locations. Dining Dollars are designed to offer flexibility and convenience, allowing you to choose from a wide variety of food and beverage options throughout the Dodge dining facilities. Whether you're in a hurry and need a quick snack or looking for a full meal, your Dining Dollars have you covered at all Dodge Dining venues.

• Can I use Dining Dollars off-campus?
  Dodge Dining Dollars are only accepted at Dodge Campus dining locations.

• What advantages come with joining Dodge Dining Dollars?
  Upon enrollment, you enjoy a discount. For instance, if you opt for the $1,200 plan, it's priced at only $1,020, giving you $1,200 to use at preferred dining spots like Chick-fil-A.

• Is there a minimum or maximum amount I can add to my Dining Dollar account?
  There are 3 Dining Plans to choose from: $300, $600, and $1,200. These plans offer discounts based on your enrollment level. The more you spend, the greater the discount you receive.

• What is the difference between Dodge Dining Dollars and MavMoney?
  • The Dodge Dining Dollars plan account is connected to Dodge Campus Dining locations. The amount of funds available each academic year depends upon the plan you selected. The Dining Dollars account can only be used at the Dodge Campus Dining Services locations. Any Dining Dollars remaining at the end of the academic year will be lost.
    
    
  • MavMONEY is a different ID card plan, giving students the flexibility to pay for purchases with their ID card. You can use your card at any number of vendors on campus, including all Dining Services locations, Coca-Cola and snack vending machines, the bookstore, and WEPA printers. MavMONEY works as a debit card, allowing you to pre-deposit money for spending. Funds loaded carry over each semester.

• What happens if I lose my MavCARD?
  Report your lost MavCARD immediately to the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office. You can get a replacement card, and your Dining Dollars balance will be transferred to the new card.

• Is it possible to increase the funds in my Dodge Dining Dollars plan during the semester?
  Unfortunately, no. Funds can only be added during the enrollment periods. However, you can add funds to your MavMoney plan on your MavCARD at any time.

• How can I monitor the balance of my Dodge Dining Dollars throughout the Academic Year?
  You have the convenience of checking your dining dollars plan balance anytime by downloading the GET mobile app: Apple or Android. You can also check your balance on the web.

  You can't add Dodge Dining Dollars through these apps. You must enroll into the program through the Storefront or at the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office.

• What should I do if I have issues with my Dining Dollars?
  If you experience any issues, contact the Milo Bail Student Center Business Office for assistance.

• Are there any fees associated with using Dining Dollars?
  There are no fees for using Dining Dollars.

• Can I use Dining Dollars during university breaks or holidays?
  Dining facilities' hours may vary during breaks and holidays, so check the dining services schedule to ensure availability.

• Can I use my Dodge Dining Dollars during the summer?
  No, Dining Dollars can't be used over the summer. The program is specifically designed to support dining needs during the academic year. If you have remaining Dining Dollars at the end of the spring semester, please plan accordingly as they will not carry over to the summer or the next academic year.

• Can I share my Dining Dollars with friends or family?
  Dining Dollars are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder.

• Can employees enroll in the dining program through payroll deduction and pay for this over the plan period?
  Unfortunately, this option is not available as all funds are immediately loaded onto the MavCARD.

• Are you charged sales tax when you purchase a Dodge Dining Dollars plan?
  No, you are not charged sales tax when you enroll in the Dodge Dining Dollars program. However, applicable sales tax will be charged on purchases made at Dodge Dining locations.
